On Wednesday, 15 January at 8:30 PM, the first event of the “Mi sale il crimine” series will take place at La Bookique in Trento (Via Torre d’Augusto 29).
The initiative aims to start from emblematic criminal cases and move beyond media narratives, offering a space for in-depth scientific discussion at the intersection of investigations, media, and society.
The first event will start from the “Garlasco case” and will address topics such as media criminology, the responsibility and effects of media rappresentation of crime, and key principles of criminal procedure, including reasonable doubt and circumstantial evidence.
The speakers will be Gabriele Baratto (Assistant Professor of Criminology at the University of Trento and Scientific Coordinator of eCrime) and Luca Pressacco (Assistant Professor of Criminal Procedure and Law of Evidence at the University of Trento).
Participation is free and open to all.
