Andrea Di Nicola and Beatrice Pattaro took part in the conference “Disinformation and Conspiracy Theories in the Digital Age”, organized by the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa on 26–27 March 2026. The initiative brought together scholars from different disciplines to discuss the transformation of the information ecosystem and the challenges posed by disinformation and conspiracy theories.
Their presentation was part of the session “Disinformation and Speech Governance: Interdisciplinary Perspectives” and focused on preliminary findings from Task 2.2 of the EU-funded project ECLIPSE project, aimed at analysing hate speech and disinformation across the EU and several European countries.
